The Art of Japanese Boro Stitching
Live Zoom Workshop, very limited class size
Dates: (2) three hour sessions, Saturdays, March 14 and 21, 2026
Japanese Boro Stitching is a wonderful way to add pattern and texture to your art. The use of repurposed fabric and paper is highly recommended.
Together we’ll explore Mixed Media Textile Art through layers of materials, color, and thoughtful composition.
As you develop a regular art practice, you’ll feel the quiet magic of fabric in your hands and the gentle rhythm of the needle weaving in and out—an experience both grounding and deeply creative.
All skill levels are welcome. Students Receive:
- 30 day access to the workshop recording
A Supply List, Design Templates, Student Handouts, and a Slideshow PDF

Artist, Teacher, Lifelong Student
As soon as she was old enough to safely hold a needle, April's grandmother taught her the skills of sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, lace making, and embroidery. These days, April finds herself exploring the modern and innovative avenues of mixed media and textile arts. Her love for connecting with the community has lead her to teaching, which allows her to share the knowledge she gains on her artistic journey.
